Ordering Policies: - Orders must be accompanied by prepayment (check, money order, Paypal payment or credit card number), or an institutional purchase order.
Credit card billing address must match the billing address of the customer placing the order. Orders will only be shipped to the billing address. Please call us if you have a special shipping request. A street address must be included because an order cannot be shipped to a post office box. Ohio residents add appropriate state/county sales tax
Shipping Charges: George's Drum Shop charges shipping on all products that are shipped. We prefer that you call us to get an exact shipping fee because the rate can be lower than the averaged one that the shopping cart computer calculates. If there is an error in the shopping cart software and shipping is not calulated we will contact you with the shipping charges. Some items due to their size and/or weight require special shipping or handling, expecially drumsets which vary greatly. You will be notified at checkout if your order contains any of these products. If your order contains one or more of these products, the shipping cost will have to be determined manually by our staff. Upon placing the order, we will determine the shipping rate based on the special shipping requirements and shipping address provided at the time the order was submitted. You will then be notified of shipping cost via email and will have three days from the date of the email to decide if you would like to finalize the order. After the three day period, the order will be automatically cancelled. Your credit card will not be charged until you decide to complete the order.
Shipping:
All orders ship via UPS Ground delivery by default. This can take anywhere from 2-5 business days delivery time, depending on where you live. All delivery times listed are measured in Business Days, meaning Monday-Friday. Orders shipping outside of the US or Canada cannot go Ground. In these instances we will ship USPS (Canada ships UPS or USPS ground depending on package size and shipping costs). We can also ship at any of the carriers' express rates: overnight, second day, weekend delivery, etc. The extra cost is paid by the customer and the customer must call us at 1.866.970.0800 toll free to do this. We ship all orders as soon as possible. Some items are drop shipped from the manufacturer. To protect our customers from potential credit card fraud, orders may be held for verification, this may cause a slight delay in shipping products to you. Price Matching: We entertain all Internet price match requests but we cannot guarantee that we will match the prices in all cases. Not all Internet merchants are authorized dealers, nor do they always abide by the pricing guidelines mandated by the respective product manufacturers. At times it is difficult to determine whether the Internet merchant is offering a new product versus a refurbished, blemished, or discontinued product. Please send us the advertisement and we will let you know as soon as we are able to verify the information. You may submit your price match request by visiting our Contact Page or by calling 1.866.970.0800 toll free. Return Policy... We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases. We will accept returns and give exchanges on normal stock items (not special or custom orders), if purchased products are returned within 30 days of the shipping date. We require that you call us at 1 866 970 0800 (toll free for a Return Authorization number (RA) before returning any products for any reason
Products purchased from George's Drum Shop must be returned in the original packaging, in original condition and must include all associated parts, manuals and accessories and warranty cards.
For exchanges we give a full exchange for the value of product only and do not refund shipping costs. We will not give refunds for items that can be exchanged with the correct item in a reasonable amount of time such as incorrect models, wrong color, wrong sizes or other specifications that can be replaced.
For refunds of goods that are not defective merchandise or incorrect shipments we refund the value of the item minus a 20% restocking fee. We do not refund shipping costs. Refunds are issued after the merchandise has been received and inspected by George's Drum Shop. Any damage to products not documented by the customer will be deducted from the refund amount. All refunds are paid in the medium in which it was paid; credit card refunds for credit card payments; check refunds for check payments; paypal refunds for paypal payments, etc.
Any damage or defect claims must be documented by the customer with photos and other applicable proof of damage sent to George’s Drum Shop along with the merchandise. George’s Drum Shop will have final determination as to damage claims. Any shipping company damage claims must be made by George’s Drum Shop. Please do not return shipping damage items. We will have the freight company pick it up. All electronics, books or videos are not refundable if opened. Damages: Damage by UPS, FEDEX and other carriers;. For your protection, Georges Drum Shop purchases excess value coverage from the various Interstate Common Carriers that we employ to cover the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives with physical damage or shortage. The charge for this coverage is INCLUDED in the delivery charge that we quote. Please notify George’s Drum Shop asap. The insurance claim must be handled by us, the shipper. Do not refuse the shipment or call the carrier. This will only delay the process. In order for an insurance claim to be processed, we will instruct UPS to pick up the damaged item from you asap. The damaged item must be in the ORIGINAL packing box with the UPS shipping label on it and must include all packing materials such as paper, plastic, styrofoam, cardboard etc. If you do not allow UPS to pick up the damaged item, then there will be no refund or replacement. In case of damage by UPS or any other reason for returns or dissatisfaction, do not file a claim with EBAY, PayPal or a charge back with your credit card company. In cases of claims and chargebacks with all these intermediary companies, we file an immediate counterclaim that automatically puts the money back into our account, not yours, until the dispute is settled. You will only delay your refund, exchange or replacement by weeks if you do this. Why do we do this? We have had con artists try to keep the merchandise and the money and have learned the procedures to keep this from happening to us.
